What we collect, and when
We only collect personal information when you choose to send us an enquiry through one of the forms on this website. Those forms ask for:
- your name
- your email address
- your telephone number, if you choose to give it
- the message you write
Depending on the form, you may also tell us a date you have in mind, roughly how many guests you expect, whether you need rooms, and what kind of event you are planning. All of those are optional.
We do not ask for payment details anywhere on this website, and we do not ask for any information about health, beliefs or anything else of a sensitive nature.
What we do with it
We use it to answer your enquiry. Your message is stored so that we have a record of it even if an email fails to arrive, it is emailed to the hotel so we can reply, and you are sent a short acknowledgement so you know it arrived.
We will not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share your details for marketing.
Booking a room
Room bookings are not taken on this website. When you choose "Book a Room" you are taken to our booking system, which is operated separately and has its own privacy notice. We do not receive or store your card details.
How long we keep it
We keep website enquiries for 12 months, after which they are deleted.
Who else can see it
Enquiries are handled by hotel staff. The website and its email are provided by our web hosting and email suppliers, who process the information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for anything else.
No other service processes the information you send us through this website.
Cookies and measurement
This website sets a small number of cookies that are necessary for it to work, such as remembering that you have submitted a form. It does not currently use any advertising or tracking cookies.
It does not use any analytics or website-measurement service.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Please call or email us using the details above and we will help.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page.
